Legadex Roundtable Lunch

ACG Holland's July lunch meeting is a roundtable discussion focused on the use of Artificial Intelligence in M&A. It is kindly hosted by Legadex and will take place at Loetje aan 't IJ, an inspiring and dynamic venue in the NSDM wharf in Amsterdam.

Guest speaker Jan Scholtes, Professor Data Sciences and Knowledge Engineering - University of Maastricht and Chief Strategy Officer of ZyLAB Information Technologies, will explain how different types of Artificial Intelligence work and how this technology can be put to use before, during and after closing of M&A deals.

Together with Luc van Daele and Nancy Brewster of Legadex, Jan will talk about a number of cases where AI has been successfully deployed by ZyLAB and Legadex.

Who should attend: ACG Holland members active in deal execution in the areas of investment management, law, banking and M&A advisory.

• The use of data analytics in M&A, including efficient data room preparation and enhanced vendor/buyer due diligence.

• Various use cases, including divestment of loan and real estate portfolios.

• Technology assisted review of large quantities of documents, including contract review and smart reporting, in traditional M&A cases.

• How to put AI technology into use for GDPR/privacy purposes.
