On 10 September 2015, ACG Holland hosted an evening of winetasting and growth kindly hosted by HPE Growth Capital and Merrill DataSite.
With some 90 attendees, this was our largest ACG Holland gathering yet attracting members and guests from all corners of the private equity and M&A deal community.
Our guest speaker Fokke de Jong, CEO Suitsupply talked about the rapid growth his company has experienced over the last fifteen years and how it differentiates itself from the competition. There were many many questions ....for example can the company continue to grow without him? Can he do it again at V&D? Why finance via banks - why not private equity? Fokke's open, frank and humorous answers were appreciated by all.
The winetasting was hosted by Pasteuning, the oldest family wine merchant in Amsterdam and guests enjoyed a range of white, reds, champagnes and most suprisingly a number of non-alcoholic wines too... all fabulous alternatives to the real thing!
