Transition to the circular economy is one of the six environmental objectives in the EU Taxonomy Regulation, which is intended to redirect capital flow towards sustainable projects.

How can circularity be measured, and how circular does one have to be to qualify? What constitutes a substantial contribution and how can we look for opportunities and risks in potential acquisitions?

Speaker: Simon Aumônier

Simon is a Principal Partner at ERM and its Director of Product Services & Regulatory Affairs in EMEA. He has three decades of experience in the environmental field, largely focusing on assessing the sustainability performance of products and energy technologies and working widely across sectors. Typically, he describes himself as working on everything from tomatoes to aero-engines, but more conventionally his clients include AstraZeneca, AMG, BP, Kimberly Clark, Ingevity, the Lubrizol Corporation, Marks & Spencer, Novartis, Pfizer, Sky, Syngenta, TetraPak and Tesco.
