ACG Houston April 12 Women's Luncheon

A native Houstonian, Biddie began her professional career in the legal field after attending University of Houston. However, 20 years ago Linda Limb, Biddie’s sister, encouraged her to use her wealth of business knowledge to help take LIMB to the next level. Serving as one out of four partners, Biddie oversees the financial goals as well as the Business Development sector of the Firm.

From guiding clients through the ideation stage of their design needs to creating working solutions to lending her expertise on various panels, Biddie is the respected and well-recognized face of LIMB. While Houston is home, Biddie’s influence far exceeds the city’s limits with notable roles including: Board of Directors of Iconoclast Artists, Board of Trustees for St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Forum Leader for WBEA representing Houston and surrounding areas to the National level – Women’s Business Enterprise National Council or WBENC, Member of the Greater Houston Partnership and a WBA member. Nationally, Biddie has served as a Mentor to WBENC – Student Entrepreneur Program competition.  This year, she has been honored as WBENC’s 2019 Star representing her local chapter, WBEA as well as the Forum Leadership Team.  

When not influencing change in the professional realm, Biddie spends time focusing on life’s biggest blessing: family – specifically her grandkids.

As President of Savage Brands, Bethany believes in unleashing the inherent good in all companies. Bethany keeps Savage focused on its core purpose and fosters the team’s culture and values. She is passionate about connecting other leaders to their purpose, ensuring that their companies are culturally aligned and that their brands have meaning. In her book, Get Your Head Out of Your Bottom Line: And Build Your Brand on Purpose, Andell, along with co-author Jackie Dryden, help executives at business-to-business companies shift their focus from solely improving the bottom line to instead prioritize the company’s long-term health, culture and non-monetary impact on the world. Bethany is a member of Vistage, Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) and a founding member of the Conscious Capitalism chapter in Houston. Andell serves on the board of AVDA – Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse and on the Advisory Board of Iberia Bank Houston. She has her MBA from Rice Business School and serves on its Alumni Association Board. Bethany was honored with HBJ’s “40 under 40” Leadership Award and was the 2018 recipient of the Rice’s Alumni Industry Excellence Award in Consulting.

Hami Arrington is Cofounder at One Foot Over, a digital marketing agency team of B2B digital marketing experts that specialize in SEO, PPC, Paid Social, and Inbound Marketing. Hami holds a BA in Public Relations and Marketing and an MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University. She serves on the boards of the Women’s Masters Network and Houston Chapter of the American Marketing Association. She also is part of Leadership Houston Class XXXVII.
