The purpose of ACG Women’s Forum is to inspire, encourage and educate women through networking and support from their professional female peers. ACG Houston hosts at least three events annually. For 2017, the Women’s Forum is hosting a spring and fall luncheon and a wine and chocolate pairings event. In addition, the Houston and Dallas chapters will join together to host a Women’s Forum luncheon before the Texas ACG Capital Connection in Dallas.  With our 2016 luncheon being sold out and the fall luncheon regularly attracting 150-200 attendees, we look forward to the continued development and growth of our women-focused events.

SPRING LUNCHEON: The venue and structure of this event varies annually and may be a cocktail hour, luncheon or dinner. In 2016, the Women’s Forum hosted a sold-out luncheon at Brennan’s of Houston featuring a panel of speakers including Carmen Jordan, President of the Houston market of Iberia Bank, Michelle Lewis, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of DistributionNOW, Claire Farley, Vice Chairman, Energy & Infrastructure, Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co., and moderator Alexandra Pruner, Chief Financial Officer of Tudor, Pickering, Holt and Co.

MAY EVENT: For 2017, the Women’s Forum hosted a chocolate and wine pairings event with heavy hors d'oeuvre.  Sommeliers paired wines with gourmet chocolates. The event provided a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for networking.

FALL LUNCHEON: Our fall luncheon consistently takes place at Hotel ZaZa in the museum district and garners 150-200 attendees. Sponsors and attendees have an hour of networking followed by lunch and a panel presentation or speaker.  In addition to marketing and branding recognition before and during the event, top level sponsors will have a reserved lunch table for invited guests at the front of the room during the presentation.
