Prior to Escalate, Tony was a Managing Director of the Technology and Life Sciences Division for Comerica Bank and its predecessor, Imperial Bank. Prior to Comerica, he held a variety of corporate finance positions with The Sabre Group and Coopers & Lybrand. Tony began his career as a commercial lender with MBank Dallas (subsequently acquired by Bank One) and First Gibraltar Bank (subsequently acquired by BofA). Tony earned both a BBA and MBA from The University of Texas. Tony is also a member of the Advisory Council at The University of Texas McCombs School of Business, is a CPA and an ISTJ.

Keith Kreuer has over 30 years of experience in starting and building innovative, customer-oriented information technology companies.  As a Principal with RedHouse Associates, Keith specializes in early stage angel investments and currently sits on the Board of Directors and advisory panels for Autonomous Marine Systems, GolfNet, Onit, Assemble Systems, ProSellus and RunTitle.  He was an early investor in idera and served on the Board of Directors until it was acquired by TA Associates in 2014.  Keith co-founded PentaSafe in 1997 and served as its Director of World-Wide Services & Support until its acquisition by NetIQ in 2002. Prior to that, Keith was co-founder and President of Penta, Inc., a Houston-based software consulting firm which was acquired by VeriCenter in February 2000.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Kreuer served in various positions as Director of Operations for Generator Systems, Consulting Manager for Ernst & Young, and Software Development Project Manager for Exxon,  U.S.A.

Mr. Kreuer is a graduate of Iowa State University, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer Science.

Mr. Davis has been investing in technology for more than 20 years in areas of process improvement software and data networks. He has sold companies to IBM, AT&T, Siemens, and IHS among others and has been focused on energy technology since 1998.

Chip’s investment background makes him conversant in operating issues resulting from, but not limited to, software as a service, international oilfield operations, data network service models, compensation frameworks for Energy, and mergers and acquisitions

Previously, Mr. Shuford served as a managing director on the lower middle-market team of Main Street Capital Corporation (“Main Street”), where he was employed in various roles since January of 2006. At Main Street, Mr. Shuford led one of four investment teams in the lower middle-market managing the entire deal life cycle. While at Main Street, Mr. Shuford worked on transactions representing over $190 million of total invested capital.

Prior to Main Street, Mr. Shuford was a senior associate of Avail Consulting, LLC in the Financial Advisory Services Group. While at Avail, Mr. Shuford was actively involved in the valuation of closely held stock, the performance of acquisition due diligence and the valuation of intangible assets for a number of clients in a variety of industries.

Mr. Shuford is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Houston. He received his BBA in Finance from Baylor University. Mr. Shuford also serves on the board of the Houston Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and is involved with various charitable organizations. He serves on the boards of the ADaMS Association, which benefits research for Alzheimer’s, dementia and multiple sclerosis; and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where he most recently served as a division chairman of the GateKeepers committee.
