Neil has 20+ years of private equity and investment banking experience. He has actively worked with several prior CapStreet portfolio companies including, Switch and Data Facilities Company, Warren Alloy, Worldwise and symplr. He also has served as President of the Houston Private Equity Association and as a Board Member of the Association of Corporate Growth - Houston Chapter. Neil is a member of the firm's Investment Committee, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Griffin Dewatering, Ontellus, MerchantWise Solutions, Incentive Solutions, PCS Software and Surgical Notes. 

Prior to joining CapStreet, Neil worked for Wachovia Securities (fka First Union Securities / Bowles Hollowell Conner) in Charlotte, NC and Chemical Securities (now JP Morgan) in New York and Australia. Neil obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from the Johnson School at Cornell University. Neil is originally from Houston.  He is married with three children.

David L. Magdol has served as President since November 2018 and Chief Investment Officer and Senior Managing Director since 2011. Mr. Magdol is also the chairman of our management team’s investment committee and a member of our management team’s executive committee. Previously, he served as Vice Chairman from 2015 until November 2018. Mr. Magdol has served in other senior executive positions at Main Street since prior to its IPO in 2007. Mr. Magdol has also served as a Senior Managing Director and in other executive positions of several Main Street predecessor funds and entities, which are now subsidiaries of ours, since 2002. Mr. Magdol joined Main Street from the investment banking group at Lazard Freres & Co. Prior to Lazard, he managed a portfolio of private equity investments for the McMullen Group, a private investment firm/family office capitalized by Dr. John J. McMullen, the former owner of the New Jersey Devils and the Houston Astros. Mr. Magdol began his career in the structured finance services group of JP Morgan Chase.

Peter is a Principal in WhiteHorse Capital's Chicago office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction structuring and execution.

Peter has more than 15 years of experience in middle market private equity, investment banking and lending. He has executed investments across a wide range of industries for both public and private middle market companies. Prior to joining WhiteHorse Capital in 2016, Peter was a Managing Director at Medley Capital, where he sourced, executed and managed numerous debt investments. Prior to Medley, Peter was a Managing Director at CIFC (NASDAQ: CIFC), where he started and developed their middle market direct lending business.

Peter received an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree from The Colorado College.

Colt has 29 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience. Throughout his career, Colt has completed approximately 200 merger and acquisition transactions helping entrepreneurs obtain liquidity via the sale of their business to either a strategic buyer or to a private equity firm.  In addition, he has completed numerous merger and acquisition advisory assignments helping business owners expand their business by acquiring other companies and, in many cases, has also raised the capital required to complete the acquisition via the private placement of both equity and debt.  He has deep transactional experience advising the owners of manufacturing, distribution, service and software businesses in the industrial and energy sectors of the economy.  He has also worked extensively in other sectors such as aerospace, business services and consumer. Colt serves on the board of, and is a past-president of, the Association for Corporate Growth (Houston Chapter).  Additionally, he is a former board member of the Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Center for Private Equity Finance at The University of Texas at Austin.
