Gordon Bell brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. After working in the trenches in the corporate world for many years and as a 5-time CEO, he founded The Midland Group in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He became a certified exit planner in 2009, and was named Exit Planner of the Year in 2016 by the internationally recognized Exit Planning Institute. His accomplishments and contributions span across many areas of expertise. He serves as advisor to owners, CEOs, and stakeholders on joint ventures, private equity, ESOPs and IPO exit strategies, and has worked on more than 75 buy-side and sell-side transactions and conducted business in 54 countries. 

Gordon has established himself as a trusted mentor and coach. For over 25 years, he has readily shared his hard-won business acumen, helping business owners explore their build, grow and exit options. He has worked with a diverse array of businesses in the manufacturing, distribution, service and retail industries, and his work includes consulting for companies ranging from $10 million to $500 million in size. Mr. Bell is the author of Discover Your Next Best Step: 10 Proven Principles of Servant Leadership Wisdom. He is also the creator of Midland Management Solutions, a proprietary system used to help businesses increase value and minimize risk. In addition to consulting, Gordon is currently working on his second book, The Journey to Finish Strong Gracefully: 3 Proven Steps to a Gratifying Life Adventure, based on the Midland Management Solutions system.
