President

Aaron Johnson is President, Renewable Natural Gas for Kinder Morgan.  Aaron was the former CEO of Kinetrex Energy, which was acquired by Kinder Morgan in August 2021.  Aaron and his team formed Kinetrex in 2013 and have created the Midwest’s leading manufacturer of renewable and liquid natural gas.  Aaron has more than 30 years of diverse experience in the energy industry, starting on a utility street crew, progressing thereafter through customer service, accounting, treasury, legal, and corporate development. Aaron has a law degree from Indiana University’s McKinney School of Law, as well as an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis.

Zainab Bass

Periculum Capital
Director

Zainab Bass will be moderating this event. She is the Director of Periculum Capital Company, supporting the firm across all service areas. She joined the firm as an Associate in 2013. Prior to joining Periculum, Ms. Bass was an Analyst in the Energy Investment Banking Division of Citigroup in Houston, Texas. While at Citi, Ms. Bass focused on mergers and acquisitions and participated in over $8 billion of capital markets transactions, including five initial public offerings and two inaugural high yield bond offerings.

Ms. Bass is a native of Plano, Texas. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas with a BBA in Business Honors and Finance from the McCombs School of Business.
