Michael joined Centerfield in 2007 and has over 20 years of experience in private equity and corporate finance. Michael’s responsibilities include structuring and negotiating transactions, portfolio management, investor relations, and managing general activities of the firm. Michael is a member of the Partnership’s Investment Committee. 

Prior to joining Centerfield, Michael spent eight years at Eli Lilly and Company in a variety of financial and business development roles. Most recently, Michael worked in Lilly’s Corporate Strategy and Business Development group where he was actively involved in the firm’s mergers and acquisitions efforts. 

Michael holds an undergraduate degree in business administration from Hanover College and an MBA in general management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Indiana. Michael is actively involved in the community, including serving as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Economic Club of Indiana.

John is a Partner at HKW. His primary responsibilities as partner within the Transaction Team include the identification, valuation, structuring, and due diligence of HKW investment opportunities. John’s focus is the Health & Wellness sector. Prior to joining HKW, John worked at Norwest Equity Partners and in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston. John remains active with Indiana University and previously served on the Board of the Kelley School of Business Alumni Association.

John lives in Indianapolis with his wife Emily and their three children. Outside the office, John and Emily enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and watching their kids at various activities.

Josh Stehlin is the Midwest Regional Sales Manager responsible for managing new business originations in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Western Pennsylvania and Upstate New York. 

Stehlin joined PNC Financial Services Group in 2004 and has held several positions within the bank including Corporate Banking Relationship Manager, Deputy Chief Credit Officer, Indiana and Western KY Business Development Officer and Midwest Regional Sales Manager.

Josh received a B.S. from Purdue University and his MBA from The University of Notre Dame.

Tim, a member of BKD Capital Advisors based in Indianapolis, has advised clients ranging from family-owned companies to multinational corporations on domestic and cross-border merger, acquisition and recapitalization transactions. At BKD, Tim is responsible for leading and executing corporate finance engagements. 

Prior to joining BKD, he served as a director with Quarton International, opening their Indianapolis office as part of a team that had worked previously as the investment banking division of City Securities Corporation.  Prior to moving to Indianapolis, Tim lived in Chicago and served as an underwriter and portfolio manager for Madison Capital Funding, the private equity and leveraged lending subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company, providing a variety of cash flow-based, leveraged capital, minority equity and fund investment products to private equity sponsors. While at Madison Capital Funding, Tim’s responsibilities included conducting diligence on prospective sponsor-led leveraged buyouts and management of the firm portfolio alongside the firm’s chief credit officer.  Prior to joining Madison Capital Funding, he worked as an investment banker for William Blair & Company and Lincoln International, also in Chicago, where he advised middle-market growth companies on matters related to mergers, acquisitions and capital raising. 

Tim holds the FINRA Series 63 and 79 securities licenses, is a member of the Indiana Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and chairs the Indiana ACG Cup Committee. 

Tim also serves on, and supports, a number of for-profit and charitable boards in financial capacities and has spoken on merger and acquisition-related topics. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor of business administration degree in finance and business economics.
