Mr. Tal is responsible for analyzing economic developments and their implications for North American fixed income, equity, foreign exchange and commodities markets. He also acts in an advisory capacity to bank officers on issues related to wealth management, household/corporate credit and risk.

Well-known for his ground-breaking published research on topics such as labour market dynamics, real estate, credit markets, international trade and business economic conditions, Mr. Tal not only contributes to the conversation, but frequently sets the agenda.

He has close to 20 years’ experience in the private sector advising clients, industry leaders, corporate boards, trade associations, and governments on economic and financial issues.

Doris Anne manages business strategy and operations for World Trade Center Indianapolis. She has served in numerous public leadership roles in Indiana, including as Deputy State Auditor and Legal Counsel, Chairman of the half-billion-dollar Indiana Deferred Compensation Plan, and Clerk of the Circuit Court of Marion County. Doris Anne also co-founded and led the Feinstein Initiative for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook from 2007 through 2012.

She volunteers her time and talents on numerous philanthropic boards throughout the state. Doris Anne graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in political science before attending the University of Leningrad in St. Petersburg, Russia and Oxford University’s Institute on International and Comparative Law in the United Kingdom. Upon her return to the United States, Doris Anne continued her education, receiving a juris doctorate with a specialization in international law from Rutgers University. Doris Anne and her husband, Tim, live in Indianapolis with their two children.

Lloyd Porter joined Cook Group in 2015, and currently holds the position of Director, Global Trade Compliance. Cook Group’s largest component is Indiana-based Cook Medical, which develops, manufactures and distributes medical devices to the global healthcare provider market. Lloyd’s role has oversight and responsibility for all Cook export and import compliance matters in addition to Cook’s Deemed Export and Restricted Parties Screening programs. Bringing 20 + years of background in international business and compliance, Lloyd’s career experience has been focused within manufacturing organizations with global sales, distribution, and supply chain activity. His industry experience includes medical device, durable life science equipment, aerospace, and military/defense sectors. Lloyd is a licensed United States Customs Broker, an ASQ Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA), and a trained ISO internal auditor.
