Please note that the Amsteldijk is currently under repair and has restricted access. For information on accessing the venue please note the following:
Due to roadblocks, the final section of the Zuidelijke Wandelweg is closed, and the Amsteldijk has temporarily become a one-way street.
Follow the route below to reach Amstel Boathouse smoothly.
1. Take President Kennedylaan heading south (past the police station and the Mirandabad swimming pool).
2. Turn right onto Zuidelijke Wandelweg. Note: The final part of this road is closed.
3. Follow the detour signs marked with the letter ‘A’. These will guide you to the parallel road – a narrow street next to Zuidelijke Wandelweg.
4. Take the parallel road to reach Amsteldijk.
5. Turn left onto Amsteldijk to arrive at Amstel Boathouse. You’ll also see signs along the way stating: “Amstel Boathouse accessible via detour A” – please follow these directions.
Important when leaving: When leaving Amstel Boathouse, you must turn left onto Amsteldijk, as it is temporarily a one-way street.
Important: Due to the roadblocks, the regular route is inaccessible, so it is essential to follow the marked detour route (A).
