Brian Rigney

Brian is the CEO of CAI Software, an STG portfolio company since 2021. 
He is a 3x CEO and has 20+ years’ experience in senior operating roles with venture and private equity-backed companies. 

To CAI, he brings his passion for building talented teams, innovative product development, strong go-to-market execution, and has led the company through nine acquisitions.

Prior to CAI Software, Brian served as Chief Executive Officer for FASTR, a private-equity owned provider of SaaS-based platforms that helps e-commerce and marketing executives to deliver best in class online experiences that drive engagement and revenue. Previously, he led the go-to-market strategy for CashStar, a venture-backed, digital payments company acquired by Blackhawk Network.  Brian also is the founder of BlueTarp Financial, Inc., an early digital payments platform ultimately acquired by Capital One.  He holds a B.A. from Colby College and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.

Beyond work, his passions are his family and anything that involves two wheels, the mountains, or the ocean.
