Emily Willard

Emily joined CAC Group June 2024 as a Producer. CAC is an insurance brokerage and Emily’s focus at CAC is on transactional liability solutions (Rep & Warranty, Contingent Liability, Tax) to Private Equity firms and D&O insurance to biotech platforms as they prepare to IPO.

Emily joins CAC from GLG, The Gerson Lehrman Group, an expert network and research and diligence firm. Emily spent three years with GLG, most recently on the business development team helping to secure new business and build the Private Equity practice. In Q1 2024, Emily maintained a 137% sales quota and had the largest core deal close on the team. Emily’s focus was middle-market and mega-cap PE firms with a sector focus in Healthcare and Life Science. Emily was previously a Team Leader and Research Manager with GLG where she worked with financial service firms investing in healthcare and life science.

Emily completed a Master of Biomedical Science with Rutgers University with a focus on neuroscience. She also completed the Post Baccalaureate Premedical Program at Columbia University where she was the President of the Surgical Society and twice received the Student Leadership Service Award for dedication to helping new students acclimate to the premed curriculum. Emily completed a Bachelor of Arts, graduating early from Syracuse University.

When she’s not working, Emily loves to read, travel, and ski with her family. She lives in Boston, MA with her husband, Andy and two young children, Charlotte (1) and Brooks (2).
