CHICAGO - May 1, 2026 – The Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG) is delighted to announce that Barbara Gonzalez, chapter operations lead for ACG Los Angeles and membership coordinator for ACG HQ, is the 2026 recipient of the Sharon Kimble Memorial Scholarship.
Gonzalez was awarded the scholarship earlier this month during DealMAX®, ACG’s flagship event, bringing together the best and brightest dealmaking professionals in the industry.
The Sharon Kimble Memorial Scholarship recognizes an ACG chapter leader who demonstrates exceptional dedication, innovation, and impact in serving their local chapter and its members. The scholarship provides $2,500 towards professional development and career growth.

The Sharon Kimble Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Sharon Kimble, who led ACG Detroit’s chapter for more than 20 years. A beloved leader in the ACG community, Sharon’s passion for people, mentorship, and chapter excellence has left a lasting legacy. Each year, the scholarship honors her contributions by supporting the growth of outstanding ACG chapter leaders.
