Gabrielle Piasio

Gabrielle Piasio is the Head of Fund and Sponsor Banking at Grasshopper Bank, bringing over two decades of commercial banking expertise to her role. She specializes in supporting financial sponsors at both the fund and platform company levels, with a distinct focus on lower-middle-market, sponsor-backed transactions involving private equity firms, independent sponsors, and family offices.

Under her leadership, the Fund Banking practice partners with private equity and venture capital funds—including emerging managers—to deliver comprehensive financial solutions. Her team’s offerings range from full-service banking to complex credit solutions, including Capital Call and Subscription Lines, Management Company Lines of Credit, GP Facilities, and NAV Facilities.

Originally from Florida, Gabrielle holds both a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Florida State University. Demonstrating her commitment to forward-thinking financial leadership, she also earned an Executive Certificate in ESG Strategy from the Wharton School in 2023.
