Former Owner-Operator, Poolweb (Aquatic Technology, Inc.) Co-Founder, Worcester Solutions Group

Andrew Worcester is the former owner-operator of Poolweb (Aquatic Technology), a commercial pool equipment and e-commerce company founded in Massachusetts in 1994 and later based in Maine. Andrew grew up in this family business—working alongside his father from grade school through college—before stepping away to gain outside experience in IT, consulting, and government. He returned to help design a long-term succession plan with his parents, and in 2010 began transitioning into day-to-day management.

Andrew's M&A connection to Poolweb ran through two transactions: first purchasing the company from his family, and years later selling it to an outside acquisition firm. During that time, he led a multi-year transformation of a founder-run operation into a scalable, process-driven business. That work included turning institutional knowledge into documented procedures, integrating ERP and e-commerce systems, automating and expediting fulfillment, expanding production capacity, and diversifying into Amazon marketplace and GSA government channels. The business saw significant growth without a proportional increase in headcount.

Having been on both sides of the M&A table—buying a business from his parents with real personal financial risk for both families, then carrying that company years later through due diligence, buyer scrutiny, operational transfer, and a successful sale—Andrew offers a candid, operator's view of the full deal lifecycle. He now applies that experience as co-founder of Worcester Solutions Group, advising Maine business owners.

Andrew earned a B.S. in Public Policy and Administration from Northeastern University. He lives in the Portland, Maine area with his wife and daughter, and enjoys traveling the world with his family.
