CHICAGO – September 1, 2026 – The Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG), the premier association for the middle-market M&A community, announced the merger of the ACG Utah chapter with the ACG national organization, effective Sept. 1.
As a merged chapter, ACG Utah will benefit from a wide scope of national resources, including enhanced member services, operational support, and a broader platform for engagement at the regional and national levels. The merger reflects ACG’s continued momentum in aligning local chapters more closely with the national organization and leveraging shared resources to increase value for ACG members and sponsors.
“The strength of ACG Utah comes from its strong leadership, dedicated community, and successful events,” said Brent Baxter, CEO of ACG. “Through this merger, the chapter will have access to ACG’s national suite of resources to operate more efficiently, deliver more opportunities to foster connections among its members, and continue presenting high-quality content and events.”
Local volunteers and staff will continue to lead the chapter, preserving the qualities that have made it the go-to place for members of Utah’s middle-market business community to build their professional networks. The chapter hosts flagship DealSource events, including Dealmaking in the Desert and the Intermountain DealSource Summit, as well as local content and networking programs like its Breakfast Speaker Series, Lunch & Learn events, and more.
“We’re proud of the active and engaged community that ACG Utah has established, and the chapter’s role in connecting members of the middle-market ecosystem across the region,” said Rob McGee, managing director, credit, at The Cynosure Group, and president of the ACG Utah board. “By joining more closely with ACG headquarters, we can bring additional resources and support to our members while keeping the chapter grounded in our local M&A community.”
The announcement follows other chapter mergers, most recently ACG Kansas City. It comes at a time of growth for ACG, which recently launched new networks in Boise, Las Vegas, and Sacramento. ACG networks provide a community for local professionals to meet, build relationships, and access deal flow in areas without an existing ACG presence by affiliating with a nearby chapter.
ACG Utah supports the ACG Idaho Network, which hosted three events over the past year, with five additional events planned for the coming operating year.
ACG also launched the Las Vegas Network, which is affiliated with ACG Los Angeles. The group recently hosted its inaugural event to introduce itself as a community designed to connect middle-market M&A professionals and business leaders in southern Nevada.
“Las Vegas is a dynamic and increasingly important market for middle-market growth, and we’re excited to bring ACG’s model of connection and content to the business community here,” said David Garcia, managing director and the Nevada team lead for J.P. Morgan Private Bank, and chair of the Las Vegas Network launch committee. “This network creates a strong foundation for bringing together dealmakers, operators, and advisors in a way that supports meaningful relationships and long-term growth.”
The recent chapter mergers and newly introduced networks reflect ACG’s ongoing investment in the organization, designed to expand access to national resources, data-driven insights, and business-building connections for middle-market professionals worldwide.
