Joel Weinstein is a Managing Director with RA Capital. Mr. Weinstein has more than 20 years of investment banking experience advising public and private companies on mergers, acquisitions, capital raises, financings and strategic advisory assignments

Eliot Peters, RA Capital, Principal

Eliot Peters is a Principal with RA Capital and brings over 20 years of experience advising clients. Mr. Peters plays a key role in the firm’s strategic direction and execution of client engagements. Mr. Peters is also one of the architects of RA Capital’s global network. He leads the firm’s cross-border practice and oversees relationships with corresponding firms in Europe, Asia, India, Australia and the Americas.

Brian Borton, Stepstone Group, Partner

Mr. Borton is a member of the private equity team, focusing on venture capital and growth equity investments. Prior to joining StepStone in 2012, Mr. Borton was an investment banking associate at Focus Strategies, where he advised middle market clients on mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, private placements, and corporate strategy. Before that he was a member of the equity research associate program at Brandes Investment Partners, a leading investment advisory firm managing US$30 billion of global equity portfolios for institutional and high net worth clients.

Navid Shirazi, Seaside Equity Partners, Managing Director

Navid Shirazi is a Managing Director on the investment team. Navid is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, evaluating, executing and monitoring investments. Prior to joining Seaside, Navid was an investment professional at Golden Gate Capital, where he pursued investments within the business services sectors. Earlier in his career, Navid worked in the financial sponsors group at Morgan Stanley.

Steven Hartt, Maketa Investment Group, Managing Principal

Mr. Hartt joined Meketa in 2010 and has been in the financial services industry for 37 years. He works in the Private Markets Group where he leads the firm’s private equity manager research efforts, as well as our private equity co investment and secondary transaction sourcing, execution, and research. In addition to his research efforts, Mr. Hartt works directly with clients on their private markets programs.
