Overview

Body

In this interactive session, David will discuss his career, recent authorship, and insights on the human side of M&A.  Negotiating a deal is a complex psychological chess match, and unlike corporate executives or investors, entrepreneur owners are both emotionally (it’s their baby) and economically invested in their business. For them, a deal is a once in a lifetime event that involves both a life-changing financial transaction and a major personal transition.  Accordingly, David will also discuss (i) helping owners decide when and how to sell; (ii) negotiating and closing the best possible terms during the sales process; and (iii) preparing owners for the mental shift that occurs after the ink dries.

We hope you can join us for this educational and engaging event brought to you by the YACG Committee of ACG South Florida.
