Stuart Jones is a Vice President on Intrepid’s Food, Beverage & Agriculture team where he focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions advisory. He has transaction experience in many food and beverage subverticals, including snacks, contract manufacturing, ethnic foods, and nutritional supplements. Additional consumer industry transaction experience includes consumer services, lifestyle products, consumer electronics, and sporting goods.
Prior to joining Intrepid, Stuart served over a decade with the Navy SEAL Teams. His last position on active duty was as Chief of Staff for the Naval Special Warfare Innovation Directorate, where he partnered with defense technology companies and other government organizations to assess the employment of commercially-available technologies to support special operations missions. He also served as a platoon commander in Iraq during Operation Inherent Resolve and supported multiple joint task forces across Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining the SEAL Teams, he advised middle-market clients on mergers and acquisitions transactions at Barrington Associates and Wells Fargo Securities.
Stuart earned a BS from Stanford University and continues to serve as a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Reserve.
