President & CEO

Sal Akbani is the President and CEO of Gateway Classic Cars. In business since 1999 and based in O’Fallon, IL, Gateway Classic Cars is the world's largest classic and exotic car sales company. The company has 18 locations throughout the United States with an inventory of over 3,500 classic and exotic vehicles. It operates on a global scale attracting clients from as far away as Australia and Japan. Gateway Classic Cars is no stranger to requests from those in the spotlight. Past customers include singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett, NBA legend Kobe Bryant and award-winning singer-songwriter and actress Lady Gaga, to name a few.

With parents from India, Akbani was born and raised in Karachi until he was 17. He finished high school there and came to the United States for college. He has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from SLU's Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology.

In-person coffee/networking and breakfast will be available at Le Meridien Clayton for ACG St. Louis members only. ACG St Louis follows St. Louis County guidelines for in-person gatherings. Registration will be capped to allow for proper social distancing.

Members will receive a link to view the presentation virtually via Zoom. There is no charge for members. Guests may participate in the virtual option for a $30 registration fee. Registration is required.
