ACG St. Louis November 2020 Monthly Breakfast Meeting with Aaron Telle, CEO, Telle Tire & Auto Centers

Aaron Telle is the fourth-generation president and chief executive officer of Telle Tire & Auto Centers.  He took on this role at the young age of 26.  After purchasing 100% of the company in 2010, Aaron led a growth and re-branding strategy taking the single retail location with seven employees to the 16 stores and 110 company associates it has today and has grown revenue over 1,400% since 2007.  

Building on 78 years of family values and automotive excellence within the industry, Aaron is responsible for the development and implementation of the company strategy, business objectives and planning activities including benchmarking, positioning the company for organic and inorganic growth and identifying innovative customer experiences, in addition to ensuring continued cultural advancements.  Aaron has developed a strategy of growth thru acquisition of other successful mom and pop automotive and tire repair facilities.  With locations in St. Louis, Jefferson City, and Kansas City, Aaron will continue to look for acquisition opportunities in current and new markets.

Prior to his role as president & chief executive officer, Aaron spent several years at Telle Tire as a service advisor where he developed strategic supplier relationships, revamped the pricing model, generated a robust business plan to support expansion and surrounded himself with key advisors.

Aaron’s career at Telle Tire & Auto Centers started when he was 15 years old with job duties increasing in responsibility from shuttle driver to general service technician.  This hands-on experience has been instrumental in his engagement with the growing employee base as they truly appreciate his sincere recognition and appreciation of each role within the company.

Aaron is driven to become an industry leader in customer service while offering top of the line products with ASE certified technicians utilizing cutting edge technology.  In 2016, he was selected by Modern Tire Dealer as an industry innovator.”   In 2018, Telle Tire & Auto Centers was ranked in the St. Louis Business Journal as the 18^thFastest Growing Private Company in St. Louis and is in the top 100 largest independent dealerships in the country.

Aaron serves on the board of directors for Lutheran Family & Children’s Services, supporting its mission to empower children and families to overcome challenges today so they can build a better tomorrow.  He also serves on the board for Joe’s Place, supporting a safe haven for teenage boys in the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District through transition into their adult lives.  He serves on the advisory board for Enterprise Bank, communicating local business progress and trends in the community

Aaron with his wife, Laura, and their three sons, Austin, Samuel and James reside in Kirkwood, Missouri.
