Ann has a proven track record leading successful merger and acquisition projects for middle-market companies. Her distinctive background includes more than 20 years of C-level management experience, including involvement in multiple corporate start-ups. As managing director and owner of Taureau Group, Ann was instrumental in guiding the firm’s intentional evolution. From its roots within a regional CPA firm, she reinvented the M&A practice to create a true boutique investment banking practice. 

As Director of Mason Wells Buyout Funds, Chris Pummill is primarily responsible for supporting the funds' investment activities.  In this capacity, Chris is responsible for initiating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, negotiating debt financings, serving on the Board of Directors of portfolio companies, and working with portfolio company management teams.

John Peterson joined Cleary Gull in 1995 and is a Managing Director and member of the firm’s Board of Directors. With over 30 years of transaction experience, John has advised numerous clients in a variety of industries and has significant experience in the Manufacturing, Consumer, Wholesale Distribution, Healthcare, Technology, Automotive, and Staffing industries.

Patrick Quick is a partner and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Patrick practices corporate law, with an emphasis in securities law compliance, acquisitions, activism preparedness, and takeover defense. He regularly counsels several public companies concerning compliance requirements and governance matters and has participated in securities offerings for numerous corporations. Patrick also has participated in many complex acquisition transactions representing both buying and selling parties in a variety of industries. 

As Senior Vice President-Strategy and Corporate Development, Chuck Lauber is responsible for partnering with the executive team to identify and define corporate strategic initiatives globally as well as overseeing the company’s merger, acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture activities. After holding multiple positions within the company, Chuck was named to the newly created position of Senior Vice President-Strategy and Planning in January 2013 and assumed his current position in March 2014.
