ACG Cup

About ACG Cup

For more than a decade, ACG Wisconsin's annual ACG Cup competition has been challenging students from the state's top MBA programs in a highly realistic private equity and investment banking case study competition. More than $2,000 is awarded to the winning teams.

The competition, open to undergraduate and graduate students (e.g. MBA, MS Accounting) at UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee, and Marquette University, begins with an inter-school round at each campus. Teams present their recommendations on a complex business case that requires a combination of corporate strategy, finance, and valuation skills. The top team from each of the three universities will then go on to compete in the ACG Cup Finals.

This case study provides students with the opportunity to showcase their knowledge on valuations, capital markets, and M&A strategy to a panel of established M&A leaders from the ACG Wisconsin membership. Other ACG Wisconsin members serve as mentors for participating teams.
