Why did you join ACG?
I joined ACG while completing my MBA at UWM after participating in the ACG Cup event. ACG has provided great networking opportunities and connections with financial and M&A professionals which has been very beneficial with our current acquisition strategy.

What do you think are the biggest challenges your industry will face in the next 5 years, and what actions is your business taking to position it for success in the future?
Our affiliate businesses will continue to need skilled workers including technicians, engineers, and sales specialists. As a people first organization, we have created systems for intentional learning to upgrade technical skills and are nimble in our processes to react to trends we are seeing. Our leader development programs, and strengths-based approach are vital as we believe the connection between leaders and employees is critical to our future success.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would love to learn how to sail. Being on the water and moving with the wind is exhilarating as well as very calming and peaceful.

What is the best book you have read this past year?
I’ve read several good books during this past year. Two that come to mind are - “Think Again” by Adam Grant and “Turning the Flywheel” by Jim Collins.
