ACG ASA's Monthly Lunchtime Virtual Meeting on 3/31/21 

This monthly lunchtime virtual meeting replaces our in-person monthly lunch until we are able to safely gather again. Each month we will have a short educational program followed by facilitated peer to peer networking. 
 

For our March program we are excited to have Liz Hocker, Managing Director of New Listings and Capital Markets at Nasdaq. Liz will discuss “IPO Market Update & Trends”, including ESG, Private Markets, SPACs and traditional IPOs.

 

More companies are considering going public than ever before.  Learn about the path to liquidity and how central Texas companies are preparing for the public markets.

Liz Hocker is the Managing Director of New Listings and Capital Markets at Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ).

Based in Austin, Texas, she works with private companies throughout the Southwest United States on IPO planning and execution.

With over twenty years of experience in business consulting, banking, talent acquisition, and business development, Liz guides companies and their legal & financial advisors on the process of listing on the largest electronic stock exchange in the world via an initial public offering (IPO), Direct Listing, or special purpose acquisition company (SPAC).

In the past 12 months, Liz has worked with some of the highest profile IPOs in the world, such as: Academy Sports & Outdoors, Leslie’s Pools, BigCommerce, Vital Farms, Rackspace, Array Technologies, Shattuck Labs, and Bumble - the largest IPO of 2021 so far.

Liz received her BA from St. Edward's University. She was a finalist for the ABJ’s “2015 Profiles in Power, Women of Influence”, earned a grant for Childhood Leukemia research through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “2018 Woman of the Year” campaign, and was awarded the “2019 Volunteer of the Year” by the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce.
