Overview

Body
Jeff Connally, President & CEO of CMIT Solutions
“One short Irishman’s long entrepreneurial journey”
(and, what do curiosity, adventure, and risk, have to do with preventing electronic extortionists from destroying your business?)
Jeff Connally’s professional life has focused on the technology needs of small & medium-sized businesses. His entrepreneurial journey began in his family’s business and led him to IBM and Austin. After earning his graduate degree from UT Austin, he left IBM and fully committed to his passion:
Entrepreneurship and the application of technology to the needs of small/medium businesses.
He currently runs CMIT Solutions, a company HQ’d in Austin with over 165 offices throughout North America. CMIT (Completely Managed Information Technology) Solutions leverages the franchise business model in delivering enterprise-class technology solutions to the SMB market and was moved up to #117 on Entrepreneur Magazines’ “Franchise 500” list in January. CMIT Solutions is leading the fight against the growing cyber-threat-scape facing businesses today.
When not in his CEO role Jeff section-hikes the Appalachian Trail, and is an adult leader in Boy Scout Troop 30 where his grandson is learning that the outdoors is where “real stuff happens”.
