Richard Shields serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Arrive Logistics. He is responsible for the organization’s financial health and helping drive its next growth phase.
With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in high-growth companies, Shields, a four-time public CFO, joined Arrive Logistics from YETI, bringing with him international operations experience and a strong background in technology, manufacturing, branded consumer products, and multi-location retail.
Shields holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and is a certified public accountant. He currently resides in Austin, Texas.

Location: The University of Texas Club, located on the East side of DKR Memorial Stadium on the UT campus (2108 Robert Dedman Drive, Austin 78712). We recommend parking in the Manor garage across from the UT Club, but parking is not included in the lunch registration price.
 
 
Your registration for this event acts as an audio/video release and includes your permission for ACG Austin/San Antonio to use your image and comments captured on audio, video or photographic formats while attending the event for marketing and promotional purposes. ACG Austin/San Antonio reserves the right to fill open seats with walk-in registrants at the respective event venues once the networking period has passed and the official event programming has begun. In rare instances this could mean that registered attendees arriving late will not have a seat readily available upon their arrival. In these instances ACG Austin/San Antonio will work to accommodate the attendee, and if not able to do so to the attendee's satisfaction, ACG Austin/San Antonio will refund their registration fee.

Cancellation Policy – Cancellations received in writing to acgasa@acg.org by 5PM, Dec. 13th will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received after 5PM on Dec. 13th. If you are an ACG Member unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person for this same event. If the person attending in your place is not an ACG Member, they will need to pay an additional fee to bring them up to the non-member rate to attend.

CFO

Richard Shields is a professional finance executive with significant experience in high growth companies. He has been CFO of four public companies, including two multi-billion dollar companies publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange.  He currently serves as CFO of Arrive Logistics which has increased revenues by over $2 billion during his 4 year tenure with the firm, which is now the largest private company in Central Texas. He previously served as the CFO for YETI Coolers for 3 years in preparing that company for its successful initial public offering. He has raised over $2.5 billion in capital, including credit facilities, term debt, private equity and public markets transactions. He has significant M&A experience in both buy and sell side transactions. Mr. Shields earned a BA in business from Eastern Washington University, and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.  He is a licensed certified public account. He currently serves on the board of directors at Goodwill Industries of Central Texas where he chairs the audit committee.
