Our featured speakers will be Brett Hurt & Lisa Novak of data.world. This lunch is being sponsored by Focus Strategies Investment Banking.
 
Online registration prices: ACG Members @ $50., Non-Members @ $85. Prices increase by $10 each for walk-ins and seats are not guaranteed.
 
Location: The University of Texas Club, located on the East side of DKR Memorial Stadium on the UT campus (2108 Robert Dedman Drive, Austin 78712). We recommend parking in the Manor garage across from the UT Club, but parking is not included in the lunch registration price.
 
Directions: Due to construction on/around campus, we recommend approaching the stadium from the intersection of I-35 Frontage Road & Manor Road. Manor Road becomes Clyde Littlefield Drive west of I-35. Take Clyde Littlefield towards the stadium and the Manor Parking Garage will be on your left.  
 
Your registration for this event acts as an audio/video release and includes your permission for ACG Austin/San Antonio to use your image and comments captured on audio, video or photographic formats while attending the event for marketing and promotional purposes. ACG Austin/San Antonio reserves the right to fill open seats with walk-in registrants at the respective event venues once the networking period has passed and the official event programming has begun. In rare instances this could mean that registered attendees arriving late will not have a seat readily available upon their arrival. In these instances ACG Austin/San Antonio will work to accommodate the attendee, and if not able to do so to the attendee's satisfaction, ACG Austin/San Antonio will refund their registration fee.

Cancellation Policy – Cancellations received in writing to acgasa@acg.org by 5PM, July 12th will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received after 5PM on July 12th. If you are an ACG Member unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person for this same event. If the person attending in your place is not an ACG Member, they will need to pay an additional fee to bring them up to the non-member rate to attend.

Lisa Novak is a strategic partner and agent of growth who has expertise in the areas of culture, talent acquisition, change management, and organizational and professional development. She has 25 years’ experience in staffing, and Human Resources leadership, primarily in the technology industry for scaling companies as they ramp up for significant growth or operational change.

Currently VP, Employee Experience for data.world, Lisa is responsible for driving the organization’s strategy for acquiring, developing, and retaining a diverse team of Austin’s best talent in this highly competitive market. Prior to joining data.world, she served on the executive teams and led HR organizations of companies including RenewData, SigmaTel, and Brooktree through extensive and rapid growth, M&A activity, and strategic evolutions, and helped create positive and motivated cultures in the organizations she’s served.

Lisa’s been an Austin resident for almost 40 years. She studied Business and Human Resources Management at Texas State University and the University of Texas at Austin, and earned and maintains her SPHR designation. She serves on the Board of Directors for Austin’s Chapter of Conscious Capitalism. She’s also a member of the Board of Directors for ACE Academy, who provides personalized education for gifted learners, and volunteers with Austin Angels, a non profit organization supporting foster care children and their families.
