Delise Simmons is an international consultant and speaker on Culture. She was instrumental in helping to build the Southwest Airlines’ Leadership University and assisted in the creation of JetBlue Airways and their winning Culture.

This lunch will take place at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse at Quarry Market, 255 E Basse, San Antonio, TX 78209-8336. 
Self-parking is free and available in the lot in surrounding the restaurant.  
Your registration for this event acts as an audio/video release and includes your permission for ACG Austin/San Antonio to use your image and comments captured on audio, video or photographic formats while attending the event for marketing and promotional purposes. ACG Austin/San Antonio reserves the right to fill open seats with walk-in registrants at the respective event venues once the networking period has passed and the official event programming has begun. In rare instances this could mean that registered attendees arriving late will not have a seat readily available upon their arrival. In these instances ACG Austin/San Antonio will work to accommodate the attendee, and if not able to do so to the attendee's satisfaction, ACG Austin/San Antonio will refund their registration fee.

Cancellation Policy – Cancellations received in writing to by 5PM, June 27th will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received after 5PM on June 27th. If you are an ACG Member unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person for this same event. If the person attending in your place is not an ACG Member, they will need to pay an additional fee to bring them up to the non-member rate to attend.

Delise Simmons helps organizations improve their cultures. She started her work in organizational culture when she helped found the Southwest Airlines’ Leadership University, where she developed and delivered leadership training to more than 1,000 leaders every year, during the time when Southwest Airlines was rated as one of the Top Ten Companies to work for in America. She left Southwest Airlines to help create JetBlue Airways, the world’s largest mega start-up carrier in US history. She helped hire their first employees, create their organizational values and assist in creating a world-class culture from the inside out.

Delise has helped organizations use their recruiting, hiring, development, compensation and rewards strategies to create remarkable cultures. Delise has proven that her attention to organizational structure, understanding of human behavior, and leadership experience help create dynamic leaders and successful organizational cultures. Her work with leaders across the country have helped produce legacy cultures and remarkable leadership.

Delise is the Chief Culture Officer at The Culture Think Tank, a research and consulting firm that designs the programs and tools that executives and senior leaders need to move the needle on culture and monitor performance. Delise is helping lead the national conversation around employee well-being and its importance in today’s workplace. Delise is also a founding partner at PeopleInk in Albuquerque. She holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church where she leads the homeless ministry. When Delise isn’t working, she is often found water skiing or in the boxing ring.
