This is an exclusive, complimentary Roundtable and Networking Series for ACG and invited C-Level executives and business owners of growth-oriented companies.

CEASAR (Corporate Executives Austin/San Antonio Roundtable) is an invitation-only networking community exclusively for ACG and invited C-Suite and Business Owners in the Austin/San Antonio area.

CEASAR offers the rare opportunity to engage with a community of like-minded executives who share in the challenges and opportunities of growing companies. This is absolutely essential in the present environment of uncertainty and upheaval revolving around the COVID-19 reopening and other events.

Each meeting includes a short presentation featuring a CEO or C-Suiter discussing best practices, rising industry challenges, or other relevant topic. Questions and discussion follow, and if time permits, group breakouts round out the meeting.

During our October 6th online Zoom meeting, Joyce Durst, CEO/Co-Founder of Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP) will be our featured presenter & will discuss Driving Value Through Better Messaging. Joyce's 12 years of visionary leadership has led GAP to become one of the fastest growing nearshore software companies. Prior to GAP, she led a venture-backed startup through a $21 million funding and it's sale. Joyce has a passion for helping others succeed. She is known for her work in mentoring young entrepreneurs and women executives in Austin and beyond.

Growing up, Joyce refused to accept that girls don't do math and kids from her hometown don’t go to college. Her determination to alter that mindset became a driving force for the person she is today. After graduating from Texas A&M University with an engineering degree, Joyce landed her first job at IBM. With a natural talent for translating bits and bytes into business drivers, her experience at IBM served as a springboard for a lifetime of professional growth.

In the late 90's, Joyce became one of the few women to rise to the executive ranks at a $1 billion enterprise software company, then pivoting into the role of CEO of a venture-backed startup. Joyce successfully navigated the company through the turbulence of the 2001 tech bust, raising over $21 million in funding over six years, and exiting with a sale. In 2007 Joyce co-founded Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP), pioneering the nearshoring model of providing outsourced software development from countries near the US.

Joyce's biggest passion is helping others. A direct result of having little help herself early in life, she is a servant leader, mentoring young entrepreneurs and women executives. A sought-after speaker on leadership and women in business, Joyce contributes to Inc. Magazine’s Springboard Enterprises. She is involved with Special Olympics Texas and serves on the board of the Austin Chamber of Commerce. Joyce was selected to Leadership Texas and has won the Austin Business Journal's Profiles in Power award, and a Stevie Award for promoting women in leadership. She is a member of WPO - Women Presidents' Organization, and Hipower - an organization focused on accelerating women’s professional success.

Topic: Driving Value Through Better Messaging:

In this session you will learn to position your product or service to drive the most value through powerful messaging. Your target audience is facing an information overload, but telling your best story can cut through the noise and greatly improve the value of your company. Joyce Durst will outline why simply describing your offering is not enough, and explain the imperative of getting your messaging just right. The session will also include breakouts where participants will go through a guided exercise to create messaging for their product or service using the Sales and Marketing Problem / Opportunity matrix.
