ACG members are invited to attend our complimentary, members-only 12th Annual "Connecting the Next Generation to M&A" event in January.

Members will have the opportunity to invite their college-aged or recent college graduate children, mentees, or other young professionals who are looking to explore a career in the M&A industry, to meet other ACG members open to sharing valuable knowledge, connections and expertise.

The event will feature a panel of ACG dealmakers sharing their experience and advice breaking into the industry, as well as ample networking time with the group. ACG members are encouraged to attend with a student to help make introductions, or attend solo to meet and connect with participating students.

Alan Fullerton has been an investment banker to large corporations, middle-market firms and family-owned firms for over 25 years.  He is a senior advisor to management teams and business owners, with significant experience in arranging equity financings and executing buy-side and sell-side M&A mandates.  An advocate for his clients, Alan has led business owners and boards of directors through over fifty sell-side transactions, as well as multiple buyside, equity and debt transactions, totaling over $2 billion in value.

Alan has been a winner and sector finalist for several national M&A awards for his transactions in industrial technology, industrial services, healthcare, consumer products, business services, travel services, and highly engineered industrial products, including for deals closed with Fortune 500 and Global 500 corporations, private equity-backed companies, closely-held businesses, and middle-market publicly traded companies. He is prior member of the board of directors of ACG Boston (2017-2023) and current member of the board of Central Catholic High School.

Prior to his investment banking career, he was with the 2500-person engineering consulting firm TASC, later the advisory services business of Northrop Grumman.

Alan holds a BS from M.I.T. in Mechanical Engineering, an MS from Brown University in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA from the Ecole des Ponts of Paris France. He holds Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 licenses from FINRA.

He lives in Lexington, Massachusetts and Chocorua, New Hampshire with his wife, son and two daughters.

Brigid Morrissey, CPA, MBA, MST, is a tax partner in CohnReznick’s Financial Sponsors and Financial Services Industry Practice. Based in the Boston office, Brigid works with investment management firms throughout all stages of their lifecycle from formation to wind-down, providing strategic tax planning, compliance, and structuring for both debt and equity strategies. Brigid assists investment firms and their principals in navigating the complexities of carried interest and tax allocations with an understanding of their unique investor needs, as well as addressing multi-state and international tax issues. She is active in CohnReznick’s Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) niche practice. Brigid’s responsibilities include client and engagement management, along with business development throughout the New England market.

Throughout her career, Brigid has worked with companies across multiple industry segments, including manufacturing and distribution, real estate, retail, international shipping, and technology, many of which are held by private equity and venture capital sponsors. She has provided closely-held corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals with a wide range of tax-related services, including selection of and changes in accounting methods, tax credit advisory services, cost segregation studies, representation before the IRS and other taxing authorities, and tax advisory services to businesses and their owners for various M&A transactions.

Early in her career, Brigid gained extensive experience within the construction industry at a regional accounting firm, providing services to nationally and regionally recognized general contractors, specialty trade subcontractors, material suppliers, and architect and engineering firms.

He advises clients through every stage of the M&A process, from strategic preparation to closing, with a focus on maximizing value, optimizing deal terms, and aligning outcomes with owners’ personal and financial goals.

At Dunn Rush & Co., Aaron leads transactions across industrial, business services, and distribution sectors, helping clients navigate the most important transaction of their lives: the sale of their business.

Before joining Dunn Rush, Aaron was an Associate at Kamylon Capital, a private equity firm in Wellesley, Massachusetts, focused on control investments in lower middle-market companies. Earlier in his career, he worked at Putnam Investments.

Aaron earned his B.S. in Business Management with concentrations in Finance and Economics from Babson College, graduating cum laude.
