Join your fellow middle-market deal professionals from across New England for March's C-Series Breakfast, our bi-monthly morning event where the region's middle-market M&A community comes together to network and hear high caliber industry experts share their outlook, opinions, successes and failures in M&A.

March's C-Series Breakfast will feature a panel discussion on the impact of human capital on deal value, featuring speakers:

  • Dr. Dan Squires - Partner, BSG
  • Clark Waterfall - Co-Founder & Managing Director, BSG (Moderator)
  • Lane W. Wiggers - Managing Director, Operating Partner Program, Argosy Private Equity

The panel will discuss two case studies: a family-owned business platform acquisition, and a tuck-in/add-on acquisition, demonstrating the difference in process and impact of leadership team assessments during pre-deal diligence and post-deal integration.

Key takeaways will include:

  • The value of assessing a leadership team during pre-deal diligence
  • How to get stakeholders/management teams on board with the process
  • How to respond and navigate negative findings
  • How to facilitate change and maximize value based on assessment results...and more!
