Due to the increasing concern about the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to postpone the M&A Outlook Conference 2020 to a later date. The health and safety of our members and attendees is our top priority, and so we feel the right decision at this time is to reschedule.

Once we confirm a new date, we will let you know.  Your registration will automatically transfer over to the new date, so no action is needed on your part if you can attend. If you are unable to attend on the new date, we will be happy to cancel your registration and process a refund.

Jeff Mortimer is the director of investment strategy for BNY Mellon Wealth Management. In this role, he leads a team that sets capital market expectations and is responsible for making asset allocation recommendations. Jeff has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the firm, Jeff worked for Charles Schwab for 13 years in increasingly senior positions, culminating with his appointment as chief investment officer. He also worked for nearly 10 years in boutique firms in the Boston area, serving high net worth individuals and families.Jeff received a bachelor of science degree in finance from Babson College and a master of business administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He is a CFA charter holder. He is a national speaker on issues of investment strategy, the financial markets and the economy. He has been featured in numerous media outlets, including Barron's, Fortune, Bloomberg and CNBC.

Dave joined Summit Partners in 2010. As the head of Summit’s Peak Performance Group (PPG), Dave works with management teams to identify and execute growth strategies that build long-term value. He oversees day-to-day management of PPG engagements across all geographies and currently serves as a director of MedOptions.

Prior to Summit, Dave held operational and strategic leadership roles at a variety of companies, including Immco Diagnostics (acquired by Trinity Biotech in 2013) and George Group (acquired by Accenture in 2007). He holds a BS in mathematical sciences from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Goizueta Business School, Emory University.

Dave has partnered with numerous portfolio companies on growth acceleration initiatives. Representative engagements include:

  • Sales force expansion and optimization for online payment services company
  • Manufacturing and supply chain improvement for a radio frequency semiconductors and components company 
  • Supply chain optimization for a broadband wireless network provider 
  • New product evaluation and introduction to drive same-store sales growth for a network of hospitals

Dave has been a competitive rugby player for more than 20 years and has served in a variety of leadership roles within the governance structure of these 501(c)(3) organizations. His experience includes helping teams raise and manage funds and coordinate volunteer efforts to give back to the communities where they reside.

At Gridiron Capital, Kallie focuses on marketing, new business development, communicating with investors, and fundraising. Kallie has an extensive background in the private equity industry including marketing, new business development, fundraising, and building relationships with leading institutional investors. Prior to joining Gridiron Capital, Kallie was a principal at NovaFund Advisors, working with a variety of general partners across geographies and fund types including buyout, growth and venture capital, credit and distressed debt, mezzanine, and fund of funds. Previously, she was a vice president at Knight Capital Partners, an advisory boutique for alternative managers, and worked at State Street Global Advisors. Kallie began her career at Merrill Lynch. Kallie received a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College, where she was captain of the varsity tennis team. Originally from Kansas, Kallie and her husband reside in Darien, CT with their three children.

Since joining the firm in 2000, Jimmy has been actively involved in investing Gemini’s four most recent funds during which time Gemini has completed over 90 transactions. He has played a lead role in over 25 of these investments and has served on the Board of Directors of over 20 Gemini portfolio companies. Founded in 1993, Gemini has invested over $850 million in more than 150 smaller middle market companies. Prior to joining Gemini, Jimmy was a Senior Associate at Citizens Energy where he concentrated on business development initiatives. He began his career as an Analyst in the investment banking group at J.P. Morgan, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for consumer businesses. Jimmy holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College.

To that end, we are communicating with the venues to ensure we and they are taking the necessary precautions with regard to the cleaning and sanitizing of public spaces. If the risks do extend to the health and safety of our attendees, we will notify you of any changes to the events, and should an event be cancelled, you will be fully refunded for your registration.

ACG recommends that all event attendees follow the respective national agencies’ travel guidance, including if you become ill to abstain from travel and not participate in public events.  We hope you all will stay healthy, and thank you for being valuable members of our community.
