Our world is experiencing exponential change.  This change is occurring all around us, but much of it is hard to internalize, such as “machine learning.”  We will unpack many of these exponential topics to better understand the nature of the change, the implications to our businesses, our personal lives and to our families.  We will explore some real-life applications of technology, from the perspective of a technologist, and consider potential reactive and proactive approaches.  We will also consider the competitive landscape.  We no longer compete with the company down the street, but now compete with companies all over the globe.  We will take a glimpse into some of the global progress being made and consider what that might mean for our local position.
