The Re-skilling Revolution: Tackling the Skills Gap Crisis

Dr. Douglas Girod, Chancellor, University of Kansas
Kevin Bryant, EVP & COO Evergy
Julie Wilson, Chief People Officer, Clarivate Plc
Moderated by Dr. Leigh Ann Taylor Knight, Executive Director and COO, The DeBruce Foundation

Join ACG and NACD as our panel discusses employees and the intersection between digitization, disruption and new skill requirements in a changing work environment. The need is urgent to future- proof and boost people’s skills and livelihoods in the face of current large-scale job displacement which is expected to continue.

The pandemic accelerated the need for change by disrupting economic activity and fast-tracking automation and digitization, creating both devastation across labor markets and new opportunities for online learning, redeployment and reemployment.  Hear from these leaders on different strategies they are pursuing to train people to be ready for jobs of the future.
