History

ACG Kentucky was formed in 2008 to serve deal-making professionals in Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana. The chapter works to promote middle-market business growth by attracting private equity capital and facilitating M&A deal making.

Famous for bourbon and horse racing, Louisville is a vibrant logistics and distribution hub, a home to manufacturing and healthcare entities, and more. It's located at the epicenter of a growth region of peer cities and continues to develop as an economic center, with a robust and growing private equity community.

ACG Kentucky brings together senior leaders of prominent private equity firms, investment banks, commercial banks, business services professionals, and private equity-backed growth businesses. The chapter features industry leading speakers and programs.

ACG Kentucky offers many ways to interact:

  • Breakfast or lunch meetings, typically held on the second Tuesday of the month from February through June and September through November.
  • The annual golf outing allows members and guests to network in a social setting, with a portion of proceeds donated to a deserving local charity.
  • The annual Capital Connection, co-hosted with ACG Tennessee, attracts more than 500 attendees and private equity firms from around the nation.
  • Member social gatherings provide prime networking opportunities.
