Formed in 2008 to serve deal-making professionals in metro Louisville and Southern Indiana, ACG Kentucky promotes middle-market business growth by attracting private equity capital and facilitating M&A deals.
Famous for bourbon and horse racing, Louisville is a vibrant logistics and distribution hub and home to well known manufacturing, healthcare and food service entities. It's located at the epicenter of a growth region of peer cities and is driven by a robust and growing private equity community.
ACG Kentucky's chapter membership includes senior leaders of prominent private equity firms, investment banks, commercial banks, business services professionals, and private equity-backed growth businesses. Industry leading speakers offer wisdom and insight through regular chapter meetings.
Members participate through a wide variety of offerings:
- Lunch meetings, typically held on the second Tuesday or Thursday, September through June.
- The ACG Kentucky Deal of the Year honors corporate and private equity management teams with the most impactful transactions.
- The annual August golf outing provides members and guests networking opportunities over friendly competition, with a portion of proceeds donated to a deserving local charity.
- Social gatherings such as March Madness and golf simulator competition provide prime ways to interact.
