LOUISVILLE - ACG Kentucky's next event answers the questions business owners are asking: what is AI, should it be used, and how?
Dr. Jeff Guan, Interim Dean , University of Louisville College of Business, has been explaining this quite a lot lately. He recently was keynote speaker before a Greater Louisville Inc./Metro Chamber of Commerce tech event, providing an overview of AI, accessing its impact on business, and ways the technology can be effectively integrated into business operations.
AI refers to systems that generate human-like text, images, and other content using algorithms and deep learning.
Dr. Guan, appointed Interim Dean of the U of L College of Business in 2022, is also the college’s Associate Dean for Programs and Professor of Information Systems, Analytics & Operations. He joined the College of Business as a professor in 1992. For nearly a decade, he has led various academic innovations in a senior leadership role focused on strategic initiatives.
