Mike Mountjoy, co-owner Lou City and principal, MCM.

The event is scheduled for the Hilliard Lyons 12th Floor Conference Center (500 W. Jefferson St., 40202). Check-in and networking start at 11:30, followed by lunch and the program. ACGKentucky members may attend the presentation and lunch at no cost. Non-members may attend for a fee, and a discounted rate is available for corporate tables.

Mountjoy will discuss important aspects of the Butchertown development and its centerpiece, an 11,300-seat soccer stadium that will allow Louisville to compete for an Major League Soccer franchise.

Louisville City Football Club will build the stadium and the project will include privately financed retail, a hotel and offices. Louisville Metro Government’s investment covers the land purchase, brownfield remediation and infrastructure improvements.

Mike Mountjoy will provide the latest details. Be sure to set aside Sept. 25 to get the inside story.
