Access Venture’s Terry Gill and Endeavor’s Jackson Andrews discuss the private equity investment environment and issues they're facing during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic.
About Terry Gill
Terry Gill serves on the investment committee of Access Ventures, a Louisville-based private operating foundation working to initiate systemic community changes that result in a more inclusive and creative economy. It launched Render Capital, a new regional fund focused on providing risk capital for local entrepreneurs. Gill is the former Secretary of the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, where he was responsible for promoting economic growth and supporting economic development. He previously served as the President of OneTouchPoint, a private equity controlled marketing services organization serving Fortune 500 companies with a full range of brand support and marketing services. He had led FetterGroup, changing its strategic focus after it was acquired.
About Jackson Andrews
Jackson Andrews serves as Managing Director for the third U.S. Endeavor office, headquartered in Louisville. Founded in 1997, Endeavor is a global movement to catalyze job creation, wealth creation, and inspiration in often overlooked and underserved markets. Endeavor supports high-growth entrepreneurs by providing access to talent, markets, & capital in 33 countries and 6 U.S. markets. Before joining Endeavor, he served as managing director and partner at Spouting Rock Capital Advisors and served on the client solutions advisory council for Legg Mason Asset Management. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, was named to the Milken Institute’s global Young Leaders Circle and is a board member of 1804 which supports entrepreneurship in greater Louisville.
