Suzie Doran has been with SingerLewak since 2008.  Suzie is a partner in the Los Angeles office of SingerLewak in the Audit & Assurance practice and leads the firms niche marketing efforts for the west region.   Prior to joining SingerLewak, Suzie was a Senior Manager at Grant Thornton, LLP in their transaction group and prior to that she started her career IN 1997 at PwC in the San Jose office.     Suzie has worked with Public and Private companies in a variety of industries and she brings significant transactional expertise in initial public offerings, secondary offerings, corporate restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions.

Adam has more than 15 years of investment banking experience in the middle market. He joined Intrepid as Vice President and Founding Principal in 2010, after nearly a decade of focusing on middle-market mergers and acquisitions at Barrington Associates and Wells Fargo Securities. Adam has executed transactions involving private and public companies in a broad variety of industries, including consumer products, business services, healthcare and industrial manufacturing. In addition to executing transactions, he’s actively involved in the management, growth and development of the firm.

Steve has been Managing Director of Duff & Phelps Corporation since April of 2013. He joined Duff & Phelps in 2000 and works in the LA office as a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions business responsible for the origination and execution of a broad range of Aerospace, Defense and Industrial M&A and corporate finance mandates. Steve has more than 13 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience to each engagement. During his tenure with the firm, he has worked on sell-side, buy-side and equity and debt capital raising transactions for private equity, public corporations and private company clients. He was previously in the Private Placements Group at Libra Investments, where he executed on equity and debt transactions.

Rehan Chaudhry

Rehan is a partner advisor at AdvicePeriod, where he advises a select group of high worth individuals and senior corporate executives, helping them to integrate their asset allocation and investment strategies with tax, estate planning, and philanthropic strategies.  His experience includes more than 15 years advising clients with prominent financial services firms. Prior to joining AdvicePeriod, Rehan was a Senior Director at Bank of New York Mellon Wealth Management in Los Angeles, focusing on business succession planning, personal and business lending opportunities, and wealth transfer strategies, to help business owners successfully transition from entrepreneur to investor.  He began his career in Investment Banking with J.P. Morgan before transitioning into Private Banking, giving him a unique perspective for privately-held and publicly-traded business owners and their advisors through the lifecycle of their business, both pre- and post-liquidity event.

Tracy Bradley

Tracy is a Director and Business Development Officer for Citibank where she focuses on building and leading sales efforts for the Escrow and Paying Agent business via strategic alliances with professionals specializing in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, restructuring, and litigation.


Prior to joining Citi, Tracy served as the Institutional Escrow Services Specialist for the Corporate and Investment Bank at J.P. Morgan where she led the business development and sales initiatives for 9 states across Western US. Tracy also spent time within the transaction opinions practice of Duff & Phelps. Tracy holds a B.A. from UCSB and MBA from USC Marshall School of Business.

Christopher Hebble

Mr. Hebble is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Capital Markets Group. His emphasis is on raising both debt and equity capital for restructurings, refinancing, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and growth capital initiatives. In addition, Mr. Hebble advises companies on an extensive number of capital structure issues. He is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Prior to rejoining Houlihan Lokey in 2015, Chris was a Managing Director at Cerberus Capital Management (CCM), where he was responsible for origination, underwriting, portfolio management, and investment exits for a broad range of specialty finance transactions. Before CCM, he was a Principal at Caltius Mezzanine Partners in Los Angeles, a fund focused on providing junior capital financing alternatives to privately held middle-market companies. Mr. Hebble was a Vice President at Houlihan Lokey from 2000 to 2004.


Tuan Hoang

Tuan Hoang is a Director in BDO’s private equity industry group. He leads the private equity business development efforts for the firm’s Western Region with a focus on sourcing audit, tax, consulting and transaction advisory work for BDO’s PE clients and prospects. He also works closely with BDO Capital Advisors, the mid-market investment banking team, in terms of their PE focus and new deal outreach. Tuan maintains active dialogue with the key private equity groups in the middle market. 

Stephen Lee

Stephen Lee is a partner in Goodwin’s Private Equity Group as well as a member of its Technology and Emerging Companies Practice. He advises private equity professionals, strategic companies, investment bankers and intermediaries regarding public and private mergers, acquisitions and general corporate matters. Mr. Lee structures, negotiates, and documents a wide array of transactions, including carve-outs of business divisions, asset and stock acquisitions, mergers, leveraged buyouts, auction transactions and tender offers.

Mr. Lee regularly represents buyers and sellers in cross-border transactions. He also has particular expertise in the aerospace, software, technology, automotive and medical device industries, where he advises companies regarding joint venture, joint development, licensing and manufacturing arrangements.


Todd Kaltman

Todd Kaltman joined Duff & Phelps in 2000. He is a managing director in the Los Angeles office and is part of the firm's Transaction Opinion practice. He has been providing financial advisory services to public and private companies since 1990.

Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Todd was a senior vice president at Valuation Counselors. He specializes in providing fairness opinions, solvency opinions, valuations and related advisory services for public and private companies. In addition to serving clients across a wide range of industries, Todd has extensive experience in the healthcare services sector, advising clients such as Tenet HealthCare, Catholic Healthcare West, Specialty Surgical Centers and Sisters of St. Francis Healthcare System.

Charity is an Audit partner in the KPMG Los Angeles office with over 16 years of experience focused on large multi-national public and private companies in the consumer markets and retail sectors. She serve as the Pacific Southwest Audit Consumer Markets and Retail Leader. Charity's background includes comprehensive experience with Internal control test work, performing technical accounting analysis, advising clients on various SEC offering filings and complex accounting matters including revenue recognition, derivatives and hedging, asset impairment, acquisition, accounting and variable interest entities.

Charity is also the LA Audit Recruiting Partner In Charge working closely with our campus recruiting team.

Orin Winick

Orin Winick is the National Director of Investment Advisory, at Aspiriant. In this role, he is responsible for growing the firm’s Assets under management and revenue. He oversees the execution of a strategic plan over ten offices.

He previously spent nearly four years as a vice president in the wealth and investment management division of Barclays, and eight years as a senior advisor at Merrill Lynch.
Before working in financial services, Orin was an Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist, anchoring television shows and covering news and sporting events for network affiliates around the country. He reported on the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona and participated as a torchbearer in the ceremonial torch relay.

He earned a BS in telecommunication from the University of Florida. He serves on the board of directors for the Association of Corporate Growth and chairs its sponsorship committee. Orin and his wife reside in Los Angeles with their children.

Jalal Taby is a Vice President with Comerica’s Commercial Bank in Southern California. Jalal manages a portfolio of middle-market commercial banking clients and is responsible for new business development. The majority of the companies in his portfolio are privately held or owned by Private Equity investors.  He co-leads the financial sponsor coverage for Comerica in Southern California. 

Jalal received his Masters in Finance from the University of Michigan. He is currently serving as co-chair for Blessing in a Backpack non-profit LA advisory board and active volunteer for Junior Achievement, a charitable organization that teaches business skills to underprivileged students.

Andrew Apfelberg

Andrew M. Apfelberg is a corporate and finance attorney for middle-market companies throughout the United States. He acts as their outside general counsel and advises them in significant transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity and other financings, joint ventures and licensing.

Andrew has particular expertise in the branded consumer products, manufacturing & distribution, new media and technology industries. His clients benefit from his strong business and finance background gained from working for investment bank Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin prior to attending law school. This experience enables Andrew to more effectively structure transactions and negotiate agreements to maximize the return to the client and increase the likelihood of getting the deal closed.

Andrew is a past president of ACGLA and currently serves on the ACG Global board.

Brandon Ferrera is a Senior Vice President and Group Manager who oversees Comerica Bank’s South Bay Middle Market Group. As group manager, Ferrera is focused on middle market companies with revenue from $20 million to $500 million. In addition, his team is responsible for covering Southern California based private equity firms that invest in high growth companies. Ferrera’s ability to balance the two areas that sometimes intersect with great complexity is one of his most significant strengths. Starting his career with Comerica as a Credit Analyst, Ferrera earned several promotions and was named Group Manager just seven years later. He now manages a team of 11 that supports its clients’ growth with financing for Leveraged Buyouts, Acquisitions, Working Capital and Growth Capital. Among Ferrera’s accomplishments has been to create a successful strategy in continuing to build relationships with more private equity firms. He does so by communicating effectively, setting realistic expectations upfront and engaging with firms that view their bank as a partner. By having the relationship manager as the single point of contact and the lead underwriter, Ferrera’s group provides the kind of high touch service that builds trust.

Maier is also a member of CohnReznick’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Practice where he helps clients in areas that include target identification and analysis, financial due diligence, pre/post-merger integration, and operational consulting.

Maier has extensive business consulting experience and has guided many of his clients through debt financings, acquisitions, and divestitures while also providing assistance with operational and manufacturing process improvements. The group in Los Angeles, is focused on originating new investment opportunities and is composed of people who understand the needs of sellers. Organized around key industries and geographies, our teams in Los Angeles, New York, London, and Singapore are practiced in identifying relevant and unique opportunities. The team works alongside the M&A teams so Platinum Equity can concurrently develop multiple investment opportunities.
