With more than 30 years of experience providing business advisory, accounting, and auditing services to privately held and public companies in the emerging and middle markets, Maier Rosenberg leads CohnReznick's Manufacturing and Distribution and Financial Services Industry Practices in the Firm's Southern California offices. He advises a number of companies in these industries on performance, compliance, and accounting issues. Maier is also a member of CohnReznick’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Practice where he helps clients in areas that include target identification and analysis, financial due diligence, pre/post-merger integration, and operational consulting.

Maier has extensive business consulting experience and has guided many of his clients through debt financings, acquisitions, and divestitures while also providing assistance with operational and manufacturing process improvements. He has also developed and conducted professional development courses in accounting and audit methodology.

 

Adam Abramowitz

He joined Intrepid as Vice President and Founding Principal in 2010, after nearly a decade of focusing on middle-market mergers and acquisitions at Barrington Associates and Wells Fargo Securities. Adam has executed transactions involving private and public companies in a broad variety of industries, including consumer products, business services, healthcare and industrial manufacturing. In addition to executing transactions, he’s actively involved in the management, growth and development of the firm.

These assignments have covered a wide range of industries and included the valuation of controlling and minority interests in the equity of closely held companies, preferred stock, restricted securities, debt instruments, warrants, options, and contingent consideration offered in transactions. She is also experienced in valuing intangible assets, including trademarks, patents, customer relationships, contracts, software, and technology and have significant experience in the valuation of entertainment & media companies and assets. Specialties: Business Valuation, Intangible Asset Valuation, Fairness Opinions, and  Entertainment & Media.

Cornelia Cheng

Cornelia is problem solver with over 20 years experience in corporate finance. She is energetic and an expert in a range of capital solutions to support growing companies.  Cornelia was most recently VP and Head of Investment Team at Prudential Capital Group’s Los Angeles Office, responsible for business development, transaction underwriting, due diligence, legal negotiations and client portfolio management for her team’s geographic territory.  She is an expert in investing private placement senior debt, mezzanine debt and equity in private and public middle-market companies.  Cornelia’s background includes investment banking and M&A advisory, syndications and debt capital markets, sponsor coverage, and Talent Acquisition. She has a deep professional network and industry expertise in real estate REITs, Aerospace & Defense, Transportation & Logistics, PEOs, Specialty Finance/Financial Services, CPG Food & Beverage, Restaurants, Non-profits, Hospitals and Healthcare, Equipment Rentals and Light Manufacturing.  Cornelia also previously took on the challenge as part of the inaugural teams that established the Los Angeles office for Prudential Capital Group, and the San Francisco Debt Capital Markets desk for CIBC World Markets.  Cornelia is currently in transition professional and is actively seeking new challenges for her talents.

Cornelia and her husband resides in Los Angeles and are active breeders of show dogs.  A highlight is when they watched their standard schnauzer dog win best of breed at the Westminster Dog Show in 2014 at the Madison Square Garden.

Brent is a FOCUS Managing Director, with more than thirty years experience as an investment banker and mergers and acquisition and corporate finance lawyer. He has represented a wide range of clients in cross-border and domestic transactions, including small to mid-capitalization enterprises and public and private companies that also include family-owned entities. His clients represent various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, pharmaceutical, entertainment, aerospace, information systems, publishing, insurance, and hi-tech.

Prior to joining FOCUS, Brent was the Managing Partner of Sun West M&A Advisors, a firm specializing in M&A advisory services to private middle market companies.   Previously, he was a partner with the international law firm Kaye Scholer LLP where he was responsible for handling billions of dollars of corporate and finance transactions for major firm clients in its New York City and Los Angeles offices. He started his career as an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, an international law firm headquartered in New York City.
