Nithya Ramanathan

Nithya is the CEO and Co-Founder of Nexleaf Analytics. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley. Nithya brings over 20 years of experience as a computer scientist to the development of sensing and analytics applications, including her work in research and hardware development at Intel and Hewlett-Packard and as an Assistant Research Faculty in Computer Science at UCLA.

At Nexleaf, Nithya leads the strategy, vision, and partnerships to design and evaluate the use of low-cost sensors in global health and environmental applications, currently implemented in the ColdTrace and StoveTrace programs. She oversees Nexleaf’s cold chain monitoring program, ColdTrace, developed and scaled in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Google.org, Gavi the Vaccine Alliance, UNICEF, Ministries of Health in several countries, and NGO partners. For StoveTrace, Nithya leads an innovative approach to monitoring improved cookstoves by applying a climate financing model with Project Surya partners, a collaboration dedicated to using cutting-edge climate science to increase clean energy access in the developing world.
 
Nexleaf is a non-profit technology company that provides organizations, governments, and manufacturers sensors that are designed to provide real-time monitoring and data collection. Sensors are paired with cell-phone-based technologies to access important information from remote locations.

Stephen Dash

Stephen is the Founder and CEO of Credible. He founded Credible because of sheer disbelief at the burden student debt placed on young Americans (a problem that does not exist in his native Australia). Stephen is still recovering from his many years as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan - where he spent his days (and nights) analyzing and advising major international banks on operations, M&A, capital adequacy and funding. More recently he founded QC Media and was an Investment Director at MHC & Co.

Meredith Walsh

Meredith is Sr. Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at People Against Dirty, the makers of method and ecover products. PAD is incorporated as a public benefit corporation (B corp), building social + environmental benefit into its products and everything it does. Meredith has put her passion for conservation and education to work as an active member of the Oakland Zoo Board of Trustees for the last five years, where she has served as Co-Chair and, currently, as Treasurer. The Oakland Zoo is charting a new course for zoos by leading animal conservation efforts from the San Francisco Bay Area to Uganda, and using the visitor experience as an opportunity to educate children and adults about how they can make an impact on conservation efforts locally and globally.
