Dr. Shahin Farshchi has had the privilege of partnering with amazing founding teams for over two decades. After working for several software startups, he built his first startup in 2004, building upon his PhD research, designing chips, systems, and software to capture and interpret brain signals. In 2006, he joined Lux Capital, where he co-founded and led investments into companies that have gone on to become publicly traded and acquired by the likes of Intel (Nervana), Amazon (Zoox), Silicon Laboratories (Silicon Clocks), and Lattice Semiconductor (SiBeam).

Previously, he co-founded Vista Integrated Systems which built wireless vital sign monitors based on a neural interface technology he developed during his doctoral studies at UCLA. Dr. Farshchi also developed hybrid electric vehicles for General Motors in Detroit, worked as a software developer at several Silicon Valley startups, and researched new techniques for semiconductor manufacturing.
