We are writing to cordially invite you to the invitation-only breakfast meeting of the Angel Forum Group of ACG NJ, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 8:00 am until 10:00 am.

At our meeting, Tim Rollender, the Director of Strategic Innovation Initiatives at the NJ Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and John Wisniewski, the Managing Director of Innovation Initiatives & Venture at the NJEDA, will both lead an exciting group discussion about New Jersey’s $250M Strategic Innovation Centers initiative.

Tim Rollender is the Director of Strategic Innovation Initiatives at the NJEDA, leading the $250M Strategic Innovation Centers initiative, where he is responsible for transaction negotiation, structuring, and portfolio management of innovation focused public-private partnerships. Previously, Tim served as the Director of Venture Programs at NJEDA, building co-investment and fund capital initiatives to catalyze venture investment in the State. Prior to his ten-year experience at the NJEDA, Tim led alternative investment activities exceeding $10 billion AUM in private wealth management and with the New Jersey Division of Investment. He started his 20+ year career as a public equity analyst covering the State pension’s $8 billion healthcare portfolio. He holds an MBA from Temple University and a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Drew University.

John Wisniewski is the Managing Director of Innovation Initiatives and Venture at the NJEDA.  His responsibilities include oversight of the state’s investment into Strategic Innovation Centers, and venture investment programs.  John started his career with ExxonMobil where he held various positions developing projects in the US and internationally.  He ran a private equity infrastructure fund based in the Middle East for Arcapita Bank, and then switched to venture capital working with Clean Energy Ventures Group.  John has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cooper Union, and an MBA from Rice University.

The Angel Forum of ACG New Jersey is a quarterly breakfast meeting/ discussion forum for current angel investors and business owners and senior executives wishing to learn about angel investing while getting connected with seasoned angels. The group has been gathering for twelve years and almost 150 angel investors, business owners and senior executives have attended, with many participating regularly.  A typical breakfast group has an angel investor leading the discussion on an important topic of interest, with approximately 20 to 25 angel investors and business owners/senior executives attending.

Who else can attend?

  • ACG NJ Members with qualifying titles may attend.
  • Attendance requests must be submitted in advance to ACG NJ (acgnewjersey@acg.org)
  • Attendance is based on capacity.

NOTE: Firms that directly compete with forum sponsors may not attend. These events are designed for peer discussion, not selling.
