State of AI Adoption and Keys for 2027
As 2026 comes to a close, business leaders are asking a more important question about AI:
How do we move from experimentation to meaningful business results?
Join ACG New Jersey for a timely year-end conversation on where AI adoption stands today and what business owners, executives, investors, and advisors should be thinking about as they head into 2027. The discussion will explore how organizations are moving beyond AI experimentation, where companies are finding practical value, and what leaders should prioritize next. Doug Schrock will also share insights from recent research examining how organizations are moving from AI experimentation toward broader adoption and measurable business impact.
Why Attend
AI is already changing how companies operate, compete, and make decisions and the gap between experimenting with AI and getting results is becoming increasingly important. If you own, lead, invest in, or advise a middle-market company, this session will help you understand where the market is heading, what leading organizations are doing now, and what you should be thinking about before 2027 arrives.
Come for the perspective. Leave with a clearer idea of what matters next.
Key Topics
- A year-end view of the 2026 market uptake on AI and key trends shaping business performance and deal activity
- Where AI adoption stands today and how leading organizations are using it to drive efficiency and value
- Practical demonstrations of how AI is being applied across operations, finance, and decision-making
- A forward-looking perspective on priorities and opportunities heading into 2027
This session will be led by Doug Schrock, Crowe’s Managing Principal of Artificial Intelligence. Doug Schrock (Crowe) joined the firm in 1991 and is the Firmwide Managing Partner of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He has held numerous leadership roles at Crowe, including serving as an elected member of the Board of Directors. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
Celebrate the Season. Give Back. Get Ready for 2027. As part of ACG NJ’s annual Power of Giving Breakfast, we will also spotlight Think Big for Kids - New Jersey, which helps Image
young people explore careers, connect with mentors, and build the skills and experience they need to succeed. This year, our ask is simple: Help us open a door. If your organization can sponsor a student, provide mentoring or internships, host a career experience, or become a Think Big partner, we encourage you to connect Think Big with the right person within your organization. One introduction could create an opportunity that changes a young person’s future. Join us to celebrate the season, reconnect with the ACG NJ community, support the next generation and leave better prepared for the business issues shaping 2027. |
