The Power of Giving - Celebrating the Season

Join ACG New Jersey on Tuesday, December 11th to celebrate the holidays. Spend the time catching up with your peers and making new relationships for the New Year while enjoying a full buffet breakfast with a champagne mimosa toast.

Last year ACG NJ members and guests celebrated and shared their good fortune by supporting Jersey Battered Women's Service Inc., a non-profit which which helps those hurt by domestic abuse.

This year we have the power to help and support another very worthy non-profit, Community Hope New Jersey, which helps individuals, including veterans, and their families overcome mental illness, addiction, homelessness and poverty by providing housing and support services.  Julia Ahmet, Community Hope's Chief Development Officer, will join us and share a little about this organizations efforts.

Please consider helping to this worthy cause by donating:
Gift cards from discount stores such as Target, Kohls, Walmart, or large grocery stores like ShopRite. Most urgent with the cold weather upon us - warm socks, winter gloves, hats, scarves and coats.

Community Hope was started in 1985 by families and mental health professionals seeking a safe haven in the community where young adults could continue their recovery from chronic mental illness. For the past thirty-one years, our non-profit organization has provided housing and essential services to individuals in recovery from mental illness.

In 2004, we directed our expertise in residential recovery programs to help homeless veterans. Today, Community Hope is the leading nonprofit saving veterans and veteran families from homelessness. To rescue veterans from homelessness, we provide

    Emergency Housing
    Transitional Housing
    Permanent Supportive Housing
    Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing
