Benedetto Demonte joined Kroll in November 2012, after a distinguished career as a Senior Forensic Examiner with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).  Ben has led a variety of complex cyber investigations including technical analysis for national security, network intrusions, insider attacks, malware infections, internet fraud, child sexual exploitation and theft of intellectual property.

Matthew Finlay is a Managing Director at Finlay Parker Holdings, LLC (FPH), a holding company which makes investments in healthcare services, business services and niche manufacturing companies. Prior to founding FPH, Mr. Finlay co-managed a series of private equity funds for MidMark Capital starting in 1997. During this time, he sat of the boards of directors of nine companies in a variety of industries and led numerous acquisitions, refinancings and company sales. Prior to MidMark, Mr. Finlay spent time with several boutique investment banks in New York and Connecticut and worked briefly in the financial press for a division of Thomson Reuters.   

Neal Hesterberg

Twenty one years as an FBI agent with investigative work in counterintelligence, counterespionage, criminal cyber intrusions. Four years of supervisory work managing foreign directed economic espionage cases. Seventeen years collateral duty as an operator on the FBI New York Office SWAT team.  

Robert Horn

Assistant Vice President

Robert Horn is an Assistant Vice President within the Alliant Management & Professional Solutions Group. The group advises and services the directors & officers liability, errors & omissions liability (including information security & privacy liability), employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, and fidelity insurance needs of Aliant’s commercial and nonprofit clients. As the lead E&O/Cyber placement broker, Robert translates this expertise into the placement of customized Cyber, professional liability and specialty E&O policies for the firm’s commercial and nonprofit clients. Robert also works closely with Alliant’s Mergers & Acquisitions group performing pre-acquisition due diligence work and post-close placements for his Private Equity portfolio clients. Prior to Alliant, Robert was an Assistant Vice President at a national wholesale broker. He started as an underwriter for a major Managing General Agent underwriting all lines of Management and Professional Liability. Robert Horn received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Loyola College. He is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS).
