What Will M&A Reps & Warranties Insurance Look Like in 2024?
M&A Reps & Warranties insurance (RWI) went through a period of intense scarcity in 2021 and then a period of intense competition among carriers in 2022/2023. Underwriting practices, including those related to due diligence, coverage terms and pricing, evolved quickly. Private equity firms and strategic buyers developed different strategies for, and approaches to, the use of this product. In this session, we will take a look at the market for RWI as it now stands and offer tips and insights into what PE firms and companies should be expecting to see in 2024.
